These terms apply when you use littletalesofyou.com or buy from Little Tales of You ("we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Questions go to hello@littletalesofyou.com.
Who can buy
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Our site and checkout are for adults. The books are for children to enjoy with you.
What we sell
- Digital book: a personalized story as a PDF, with a read-aloud audio file. It is delivered by email.
- Hardcover + digital: a printed book made to order, together with the digital book.
- "Looks like them" add-on: an optional photo match, described in our Privacy Policy.
Prices and delivery estimates are shown on the site and at checkout. What's shown at checkout is what applies to your order. Screen colors and printed colors can differ slightly. A story marked as coming soon isn't for sale until we say so, and its timing can change.
How checkout works
Orders are processed by a checkout provider named on the payment page. It acts as the seller of record, which means it takes payment, charges any sales tax or VAT and issues your receipt, and its own terms apply to the payment. We make and deliver the book.
Your details and your content
You're responsible for the names, dedication and any photo you give us. Please check spelling in your preview. By giving them to us, you confirm that you have the right to do so and you allow us and our service providers to use them to make and deliver your book. Don't submit anything unlawful, hateful or sexual, anything that infringes someone else's rights or a photo of a child you aren't entitled to share. We may refuse or cancel an order that breaks this rule, and we'll refund it unless the order was fraudulent.
AI disclosure
Our stories and illustrations are created with AI tools and reviewed by our team. AI output can contain small imperfections. If something in your book looks wrong, tell us and we'll fix it, as described in our Refund Policy.
Re-makes and refunds
You can re-make your digital book for free to change the name, the look or the dedication. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Hardcover printing and shipping
Hardcovers are printed on demand, then shipped by a carrier. Dates we show are estimates and not guarantees, and any seasonal order deadline we show is our best estimate. Free shipping applies to US addresses unless the site says otherwise. Once you've ordered, tell us quickly if the address is wrong, because we may not be able to change a book that has gone to print.
What you can do with your book
We own the stories, illustrations, characters, audio and site design, to the extent the law allows. You get a personal, non-commercial license to keep, read, print and play your book, and to give it as a gift to the child and family it was made for, including sending them the file. You can't resell it, publish it online, use its pages or characters in other products or use it to train AI.
Using the site
Please don't misuse the site, for example by disrupting it, scraping it in bulk or trying to get around its limits. We may change or discontinue parts of the site or our products. That won't affect orders you've already paid for.
Disclaimer and limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, the site and books are provided "as is" and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived, or liability that can't legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protections of the place where you live and may bring a claim in your local courts. Please write to us first, because most problems can be solved with an email.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version shown when you place an order applies to that order.
